Incoming…Hard to pick between the combos

Just arrived today. The DJ has always interested me but all the combos and sizes made it a hard decision. I guess I went with the conservative black but all of them are beautiful. Insanely more comfortable than the sub/explorer/SD I had.

What DJ combo did you pick?

Cheers!

Like the smooth + jubilee combo. Black dial is underrated. It dances in the light. Congrats.

I went with slate dial, fluted bezel & jubilee. I also liked the blue dial with the same bezel & bracelet, but ultimately went with slate since I liked the one I gave my wife so much. Now we have matching DJ's, lol. I really like the slate, as it fits my somber personality.

I'm also very interested now in the 2 tone, rose gold & steel, fluted bezel on oyster with the chocolate dial.

always stick markers, don't like the roman numerals.

Yeah looks great. Can’t go wrong with any. The stick dial looks better imo but the Wimbledon and white dial with Roman looks beautiful.

That's beautiful, congratulations!

Your wrists look similar to mine, and this is a (largely) anonymous forum, so I'm just going to ask the weirdo question:
I worry about jubilee bracelets being uncomfortable and pulling hair. Is that a valid concern?

Jubilee is very comfortable. Haven't had any hair pulling issues, lol

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion: I think we posted @ the same time b/c I wrote that to the OP and by coincidence you posted a nearly identical pic just as I was responding!

Fluted and jubilee are a great change of pace from my brushed, oyster sport watches.

Congrats, that bright black dial looks so good in the sunlight.

I also love the jubilee/smooth combo.

Love the smooth bezel and jubilee combo and am on the list for the white dial (41) in that configuration.

That said, I’m really liking the slate/fluted/jubilee above. Wow!

Looks beautiful! I think we all agree the jubilee is the correct bracelet.

I think its taste

The oyster is more sporty, and with a fluted bezel, particularly with a TT or a Wimbledon dial, the jubilee bracelet seems too fussy for me. But its personal taste

I agree with the Colonel. It’s a stunning combo, especially on the Wimbledon.

You make a good point. The DJ is insanely comfortable. The 11.9mm thinness and 47.8 lug to lug of the 41mm model make it sublime

Man OP. Now that is a watch that can be worn with anything. Shorts and T or black tie in a pinch. Timeless, comfortable, sporty yet elegant.

Well done

Thank you! You know I was wondering what all I can wear with this. I initially thought it’s a dress up type watch but it’s not. It can be casual in shorts and tee shirt easily.

Yeah man, I find myself wearing the DJ on weekends with a plain black T & jeans. It really goes well with anything.

36mm, silver dial, jubilee bracelet, fluted bezel.

The quintessential datejust to me.

very nice!! Smooth bezel + jubilee bracelet is such an amazing combo on the DJ. Basically any dial you get with that combo is perfection. congrats!

Incoming…Hard to pick between the combos

I went with the 41, silver, fluted on jubilee. I wanted to mix things up a bit. All my watches were either black or blue, so I went with silver.
