Some sent that out in a group text this morning. That combo doesn’t appear in the Rolex configurator.

Maybe it’s a special piece for the Oscars?

I want it too. Unfortunately, I have long list of "wants."

One-day perhaps......

The original image isn’t showing up for me, but here’s what I screenshotted just now.

Does that look like an existing dial color used on a different model?

No, that color with deconstructed Roman numerals is not in any current DD configuration.

I know that color “with deconstructed romans” isn’t used on another model, I’m not talking the color “with” numerals, just the color on any non-DD model.

They have slate and black dials with both sticks and baguette diamonds in the range, but this color doesn’t look like either of those.

It’s on the opening screen at Rolex.com which is promoting their association with movies and the heroes portrayed in them. Oscars tonight so it’s the Oscar watch.

It may indeed be a special release for the Oscars. It’s not yet on their online configurator, but maybe they’ll add it tonight.

There’s no doubt it’s for the Oscars but whether only for celebrities or not will be the interesting question.

Probably just a "trinket" they toss into those 200k celebrity gift baskets .

Wow, that is gorgeous color, I would called "Smoked Slate Dark Grey dial".

Audemars Piguet has similar color for their Rose Gold Royal Oak 16202OR.

In the ad, there's a pause on the coke for a few seconds.. hints to what's coming?

It’s on the screen for 1 second when James Spader checks the time, same as in the film. Every single shot has an actor wearing a Rolex, all models easy to identify and the small ladies tt dj is just as prominent for example.

Saw the Coke and couldn't tell if it was vintage or a release tease.

I think it's due to some filter in the video. Mister Reddington wears a GMT "Pepsi" in the show. One season is on a jubilee, the other one is on oyster.

I'm horribly easily affected by marketing.

Rolex has consistently had the best ads pretty much forever. I remember them vividly from National Geographic and Playboy in my youth.
