Icon5 is this 116518LN "Pikachu" authentic?

Hi, hopefully Im posting in the right place,

I bought this Rolex 116518LN on chrono24, and was inspecting it as soon as I received it, everything is looking well, except this microscopic image taken on an electronic microscope, and not sure how to handle this, should I return to seller? ask for warranty? or is it a normal thing with such tiny things?

thank you in advance, I appreciate your comments

Eeesh. I’d would return it and buy from a trusted seller here, where ironically you’ve come to authenticate the piece.

At that microscopic magnification I wouldn't worry about it.

If it bothers you now, it's probably going to bother you in the future. At least it always does for me. Once I see it, I have a hard time unseeing it. I'd return and buy from a trusted seller here like someone else recommended.

thanks for the responses, yeah... even though the seller had great reviews, he did confirm his companies personnel opened the watch to authenticate... as I understand this not only exposes it, but voids the warranty, so these scratches might have been made from them.

They would not have removed the hands and scratch them just to verify a genuine movement inside the case.

I don't see any red flags that stand out

Looks fine. Rolex is still a mass market brand - you’re going to see imperfections.

Unless you know a lot of people that walk around carrying microscopes, you'll be fine
