Citizen Blue Angel
Strolling around an outlet mall, hit the Citizen store. Had a bad dental experience this morning, Dow up 450, 30% discount and manufacturers’ warranty, what the heck. Big, bold ,fun and Eco Drive.

Congratulations! The module in this watch is a great one. I have the older version and you do get used to it. YouTube videos at times can be more helpful than the actual instructions.

Very nice. So this sets to atomic time every night like the G-Shock Multiband 6 watches?

Interesting slide rule bezel - while a pilot struggles with its use calculating exactly how much fuel (in pounds, liters or imperial gallons) will ignite upon self-induced CFIT while being distracted at the controls...

The logo on the back of the seconds hand tells you it receives the signal from the NIST broadcast out of Bolder CO and other "Atomic" clocks around the globe.
I have one that was my everyday wear until I got into mechanical watches. Was my first "complicated" watch. You will be enjoying it for decades. They are always accurate and virtually indestructible. If you do happen to bang it up, just send it to the LA service center and they can replace just about anything on it. Even put a sapphire crystal on it if does not already have one. (Earlier versions came with a mineral crystal) Congratulations!!! |
