Hey there. User JessieThe3rd is running an elaborate scam on here.


They are selling an 18238 in excellent condition for 11.5k. I reached out, offered 11 and JT3 was quick to accept. I contacted his references and was quickly messaged back by everyone within the span of 5 minutes at 1am. I found that extremely odd to say the least.

This morning I wake up to two more PMs. One from one of the people that had vouched, and another from his friend. The voucher said he had never dealt with Jessie and that his account must have been hacked.

Looks like there is a good scam going on around here with old accounts getting hacked and being used as references. Be extra diligent.

I see that Jessie has now been banned. To be clear, I don't think the actual JesseThe3rd is a scammer, just that his account was hacked and used in this scam.

Other accounts that have likely been hacked that he listed as references include:

Again just to be clear I think these are good people, not scammers, just that their accounts have been hacked and are now being used in a fraudulent reference ring.
