Small red service dials

Hi dears,
could you please describe how many types of small red dials for 6263/6265 are there and how to recognize them?
Regards

The dial above is indeed a service dial. The tell is the A in Daytona doesn’t extend past the 1 o’clock marker on the sub-dial, unlike original, non-service dials.

There are a few subtle small detail 'small red' service dials, but tbh service dials decimate the value of a 6263/6265 by about 1/3, or even more.

Loose BR dials can range about £12-18k or so, but Small Red service dials I've seen sell for just £1500-2000, so there's not too much SR fakery out there.

Small red service dials

Thank you for the answer, do you know why are there service dials with Singer stamps and other with Rolex3 stamps?
Regards

I'd always favour a tritium version of a service dial on any watch eg a 1675 with a nice patina T25 tritium matte service dial/hand is worth more than a stark Swiss Luminova service dial with Luminova hands.

It's likewise with a small red Daytona.

A, typically earlier, Singer T Swiss T tritium is imho much nicer, and a bit more valuable, than a later Rolex 3 Swiss Footer Luminova one.

Both here, if you want to dissect fonts etc, but it's the Tritium v Luminova that elicits small demand/value equation rather than font/text details :

As I learned there are Rolex3 dials with Tritium or with Luminova, the one that I posted is tritium

Yes the latter R3 version there are two (or more) you can see the fonts are significantly different from the T SWISS T you posted and the Swiss Luminova R3 one I posted:

Eg 'DAYTONA' one is serif and thin text other is not.

On one the O in OYSTER is egg shaped other is nearly round plus loads of other differences....btw there are few different BIG RED DAYTONA fonts too.

I'm sure you can do a similar T SWISS T dial difference between the Singer and R3 too (the obvious difference is the serifs across the sub-dial numbers, min and hr markers on the Singer one etc etc) ...up to now nobody has bothered much as service dials not particularly sought after/valuable, but perhaps now is the time.

Yes, it could be the time to look at them
