Post here if you wanna see a Vacheron Constantin sub-forum

Hopefully this convinces the staff to add it.

Well, sure. This came up maybe 6 months ago. This thread is likely to get 12-18 responses. Probably not enough to justify a new Sub. I say that, but when you look at the activity in the Breitling and Seiko subs it probably wouldn't be much different.

It won’t happen and after 12 years here I agree there’s no case for it. You’d have one active thread and most of the first page posts would be weeks or months old.

You mean like Panerai, Omega and Breitling?

What would actually be nice is a search function that actually works.

I’m curious why people think we need one. The bottom post on this page is from May 27, and there’s one maybe two Vacheron threads. I like Vacheron a lot, but if there was a dedicated page it would probably have posts back 6 months to a year on the first page.

Plus, as the mods have noted when this was asked a little while ago, most people asking for it aren’t sponsoring/pledging members.

Nor are they starting threads about VC much, or posting a great deal of VC content.

Like segmenting the beer market: green ales, blue ales, and amber ales.

Makes little sense for a vibrant forum.

It's one of the oldest luxury watch brand in the World. That's a niche worth delving into.

Unnecessary and may actually lead to less engagement.

More people come to this general forum so more people are exposed to the VC posts.

I voted yes, but it's hard to argue with this logic.

As part of the Holy Trinity of horology, VC deserves its own sub-forum, even if it’s just for appearance’s sake. AP and Patek have them, why not VC?

There are several sub-forums here they get very little engagement, so that can’t be the only criterion.

VC is a better selling luxury watch brand than Panerai and Breitling whom have their own section.

Omega beats VC.

I would like one, as I think a VC is on my radar next, but I agree that there seems to be lack of traffic on VC.

Honestly, I think the dedicated sub-forum would get less traffic than these VC posts within the larger Watches (Non-Rolex) section. I click on every VC thread posted here, but I wouldn't click into the dedicated VC forum. Look at the poor and pathetic Breitling forum. It's just dead, and there are ten times more Breitling owners on TRF than there are VC owners.

Have Breitling released anything exciting in the last 10 years for people to talk about?!

I would buy a 44mm Emergency III in a heartbeat. I had the pleasure to meet the CEO of Breitling a few years back. He was super friendly and engaging on all topics until I asked about the Emergency II. Then he looked at me like I had crap on my face and changed the subject. Wouldn't hold my breath on an update. My question specifically was if a more compact version would be coming.

When I crash on a desert Island, unless I am stranded with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders or a similar group of, um, intelligent and fun people, I'm going to regret not buying and wearing an Emergency II.

Exactly! That's why they must make a smaller version.

That sucks it’s their coolest watch alongside the Navi. Rolex should drop an explorer III with plb.

I don't know. I have not checked the Breitling Forum to find out
