Certain models below retail

Do you believe coveted models such as a green dial Sky Dweller or Rose Gold with Blue/Green Dial will ever dip below retail in secondary markets?

Is it just because they are so new? Or are these types of models going to stay above retail in secondary?

Precious metals will.
Models like green sky dweller, Pepsi gmt, steel Daytonas etc never will.

Never say never, it all depends on if newer generations also will like this hobby. Are we a dying breed here that ages rapidly? But in the coming years I agree with you.

I doubt it. Limited releases and demand will keep the numbers up.

Well today to some Rolex watches have become little more than ££$$€€ objects and little more. And while people are still willing to pay crazy money for today's so called hot models, prices will never come down below retail prices.
