124060 or MK 1/2 126600
Hi so I got my new 124060 recently from my AD, clearly a great watch, which I wear for work, recreational diving etc. It’s a great everyday watch. But I didn’t realise how much I would miss the date function. I possibly have an option to get a used 126600 and currently weighing up a 2019 model and a 2017. While shopping on the grey market fills me with dread a wee bit, I’d appreciate any pointers. Stick with 124060, see if I get used to it or take the plunge on one of these options?

I would wait.I felt the same way in 2004 when I purchased my 14060m, but as time went on I have cone to appreciate the simplicity. There are SO MANY date indicators around me all the time that I actually find it more annoying to look at my watch versus the other things that indicate the date (computer, wall clock, phone, etc.) and time really.

Welcome to the forum. If you feel you can’t live without the date function I’d swap it for the Submariner date.
I personally think you already have the perfect diver reference |
