AP Royal Oak steel bracelet/bezel/case replacement cost?
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has experience with Replacement parts direct from AP for steel royal oaks, namely the bracelet, bezel and case.
My understanding is these can only be polished a certain amount of times before needing replacement. The Bracelet if it gets stretched cannot be fixed like a Rolex bracelet and must also be replaced. Thinking more about recent models such as the 15300/15400/15500/15510 15202/16202 etc but even Offshore part costs are useful to give an indicator.

Ouch! I assume there is some level of premium on the price due to the nature of titanium being more difficult to work with. That’s useful to know though.

That is a steep price! Must be one of if not the most expensive steel watch bracelets You can get.

Good question, I don't believe they will just sell you a bezel or case etc, perhaps a bracelet. A bezel or case replacement I believe must be as part of a service. I also think they keep the replaced part (i think this is the case with dial replacemets).

They told me a brand new bracelet for the 41mm Royal Oak 15510 in steel cost around 4.9k SGD or about 3700 dollars. The mid case is closer to 5.5k SGD and the bezel is 1.8k SGD or so. Service advisor advised me to wear the balls out of the watch, polish it during the service and replace the case or bracelet when needed. The good thing about RO cases is that if you don't replace the case back, the serial number is still original. Hence you can always buy a midcase, bezel and bracelet "forever" with the same serial number. |

I was told even if you replace the case they would still use the same serial number.

Sometimes I wonder if everything from the Offshore line is just more expensive! The bracelet on an RO is barely 5 times more than a rubber strap set for the ROO. |

I wonder if anyone had had to get a new gold offshore bracelet, that would be interesting, likely near enough a new 15510ST!

I did ask about the 15510OR bracelet and was told the gold one is about 10x the price of the steel one. Similar or more for the ceramic |

Anybody got any idea how much Replacing or refinishing a dial would cost? Like for older watches do they restore it use original parts? Or are they service parts?

This is a good question, I've seen 14790's in decent condition apart from the dial and wondered if they can be replaced. The potential issue is around 2010ish I believe AP moved the dial manufacture inhouse.

I was quoted by the London Boutique £4,200 for a new 15202ST bracelet.

Interestingly I was quoted just over GBP £7,000 for a new royal oak offshore bracelet. For a steel bracelet that is exceptionally high.
