Ibiza / Sardinia / Milan

Hi all, anyone knows how's availability for ADs in these cities? Will be in Ibiza, Sardinia (north of the island only) and Milan.

Obviously not counting on a GMT by walking in but maybe a DJ31 MOP or green or Aubergine / DJ41 Fluted Blue or Rhodium / OP41 in Silver or Green or Blue. Is this wishful thinking?

As for the rest of the world, there will be no model available, except perhaps a DJ31!

Do they typically do "bundling" on the spot? Like buying an unpopular Datejust and getting something more desirable along with it?

Mmmm, my experience is you gotta bundle, however there is always someone else bundling more who gets the desirable piece.

I just say stick to bundling and the pieces are generally more reliable imo.

Well according to many on forum today unless you have so called AD relationship and spent a zillion you have no change of buying any Rolex watch. But in the real world all ADs are just shops that sells watches,so just ask all the ADs you visit especially if a cash buyer what watches you are after you might get lucky good luck.

I think the “can I get in overseas trip to XXX a Rolex?” is a question that should not be asked. The answer is 99.9% you won’t offered anything, but you can ask.

So decide if you want to go to AD’s, or have a good time in each place. Good luck with hunt.

Just curious when you’re going to Ibiza. I wish I had a trip planned there. I really want to buy a new watch there that they won’t send to the US since it’s a limited edition there.

There’s a zenith skyline Ibiza edition. Apparently they would let me pay for it but be picked up by someone else.

I picked up my CHNR GMT as a walk in at the Porto Cervo Rolex boutique in 2018. It was just sitting in the display window. They said they just put out whatever they get in. Maybe things have changed!

In past few months I've been offered both "classic" and "professional" Rolex by UK dealers where I have no purchase history and as a walk in. (Including a batgirl GMT where the watch was apparently promised to another customer, but he is currently overseas and unable to pick it straight up... yada yada ya. One of the standard fairy tails told by watch sales people...) None were watches that I was interested to buy.

Italy is obviously not the UK, but I'd imagine that it is worth your while checking stores in Italy. They will let you know after maybe 5-10 mins of chit chat if there are any watches that they are looking to sell.

Interesting a Batgirl for walk in customer with no previous history.
Usually, hot pieces are not offered to walk in customers (even if they are in stock) as these are the click bait of ADs to get new clients to buy less desirable watches.
