I've made this machine for Re-cutting Rolex Fluted Bezels.

Any other information on the gold bezel, like the model?
Did you weigh the gold bezel before / after? Curious how much you lost?

Hey, I’m no engineer but how can you confirm proper functioning of your machine without cutting a bezel?

Instrument was likely designed to end user specifications or OP was a member of a team who developed this instrument. -Industrial Engineer ;)

Finished cuts look great. I have seen laser welding and recutting that turns out good too. I think many watch owners appreciate that process since it retains the original bezel.

Wow! Spectacular. I can’t stand those “recently polished” watches where the bezels are rounded off and look like crap. The cut is so important to the light dance!

Game changer for sure. Along with laser welding!

Only thing missing now is something for the YM platinum bezels and all of Rolex refinishing problems will be solved.

What I mean to say is, I've cut a bezel on the machine, but not an original rolex bezel.

I've made a bezel out of brass for trial purposes and cut that on this machine. That confirmed the proper functioning of the machine.

For the flute V angles, I went to an AD to measure the angle on the actual watch and made the cutting tool accordingly.

Sorry for any confusions. My bad.

The image attached is from a client from Germany, just taught him to use the machine 3 days back.

Basically OP is making after market bezel from raw metals. he doesn't resharpen used/damaged bezel on the watch

No no ... the OP did that for testing purposes and while building the machine. I assume due to limited access to a genuine bezel.

The machine has been used by his customers (the end user of the machine) to resharpen used/damaged bezels on THEIR client's watches.

This machine is as cutting edge as the fluted cuts!
