Hi there,
I've made this machine for Re-cutting Rolex Fluted Bezels. Please have a look below. Attached are some photos of the machine & before/after. I cannot post a link here as it is my first post, but video can be found on Youtube by the name : Rolex Datejust / Day-date Fluted Bezel Re-Cutting / Re-Polish Thank You. |

Interesting. Any other information on the gold bezel, like the model? Did you weigh the gold bezel before / after? Curious how much you lost? |

Oem.
Hey!
I've never cut an original bezel. I just make these and sell to watch polishers. You can check out their work on Instagram. the_watch_polisher, London Watchfriend de Germany OBR Horology, Australia iwpthewatchpolisher, Belgium. Thanks. |

Hey, I’m no engineer but how can you confirm proper functioning of your machine without cutting a bezel?

Finished cuts look great. I have seen laser welding and recutting that turns out good too. I think many watch owners appreciate that process since it retains the original bezel.

Wow! Spectacular. I can’t stand those “recently polished” watches where the bezels are rounded off and look like crap. The cut is so important to the light dance!
Game changer for sure. Along with laser welding! Only thing missing now is something for the YM platinum bezels and all of Rolex refinishing problems will be solved. Thanks for sharing OP!

That’s a great machine OP. Would love to learn how to use that

Hi,
You posted: I've made this machine for Re-cutting Rolex Fluted Bezels. Then: I've never cut an original bezel. I just make these and sell to watch polishers. ?? You do repair Rolex bezels.

I've made a bezel out of brass for trial purposes and cut that on this machine. That confirmed the proper functioning of the machine. For the flute V angles, I went to an AD to measure the angle on the actual watch and made the cutting tool accordingly. Sorry for any confusions. My bad. And yes, I've posted this for marketing purposes only. Sorry again. Would be happy to answer if there are any more questions. The image attached is from a client from Germany, just taught him to use the machine 3 days back. |

If this is the machine that The Watch Polisher in London uses then the results are very impressive! You can see them on his instagram

That is awesome! Any idea what they charge to recut the bezel? I have a 1983 Datejust that could use a recut.

The machine has been used by his customers (the end user of the machine) to resharpen used/damaged bezels on THEIR client's watches. This machine is as cutting edge as the fluted cuts!
