Watch box for 16710 GMT
Hey all,
I thought I'd ask the brains trust about a query I had. I have a 2005 16710 GMT and it came with the later model watch box, the green plastic box with beige felt internals and c-cushion. I bought the watch second hand. My questions is... is this the correct box? Did the later model 16710 come with this box or did they all come with the older wooden/brown box? I know 100% my watch is genuine and it came with all links and papers, but I've always wondered about the box. Thanks!! |

A Rolex watch sold in 2005 could have been supplied with either of these.

Amazing! This explains it.
Mine is a late January 2005 watch so the new style box makes perfect sense. Thank you! |

I’ve both a 5 digit explorer II and gmt Master II either side of your date and both have the modern boxes.
