Six watch collection - would you change anything?

Submariner 116610LV Hulk
Yacht-Master 126622 Rhodium
Platinum Day-Date Ice blue dial / roman numeral markers / fluted bezel
GMT-Master II “Rootbeer” Two Tone CHNR
Bluesy 126613LB
YachtMaster RG/Oysterflex 126655

I am curious what anyone would add or change about this.

The most obvious answer is add a Pepsi or a Daytona. I think the Pepsi is, minority opinion here -- really not good looking. I also find the Daytona too small at its real size of 38.5mm so none stayed in the collection.

With that said what would one change or add with this setup?

Not quite. It has hints of yellow gold, but adding a full YG piece is something else. I would try that since you are asking.

If the BLRO and Daytona aren't your thing, maybe a VTNR or Skydweller to mix it up a bit?
Or explore other brands.

I’d change everything but the DD. Like a ton of other collection thoughts/threads on TRF, you’ll get mostly everyone’s personal tastes, choices, favorites, different brand choices, etc….
Buy and enjoy what you love looking at on your wrist. If you love what you have, that’s what matters.
Like I said, personally, if someone handed me your collection, I’d change everything except the DD.

I would keep the Hulk and the Platinum DD. Both very special watches. The others, for me, not so much. A PM Sky-Dweller on bracelet and a PM Root Beer would give you a powerful four watch collection.

I like this idea.
Would personally suggest a SS Sky-Dweller as this would be the most functional daily, and be appropriate for all occasions.

Let us know what you decide

Yes, then add the BLNR on jubilee and a white dial something. Keep us posted

I'd add the 126719BLRO because it's a discrete heavy hitter and an iconic, timeless design. I'd lose the YMs (have never been able to like YM bezels), the TT CHNR (tried it, admired it but couldn't love it) and the DD (because I don't like Romans on dials). Looking at alternatives from other brands would be my next move, after I'd added a Sky Dweller - obviously!

Having said that, it's not clear why what I think should in any way affect you. If you are happy with your collection it's all that matters.

I'd trade the YM rhodium for a BLNR jubilee and add a Skydweller.

Then you'd have enough to wear for each day of the week.

What a great set of watches.

Personally, I would only add to it. Maybe another brand at this point?

Agree! I like your collection. I did have both the bluesy and the Slate YM in my collection at one point. The bluesy was a 5 digit and my first Rolex, but I’ve learned that I prefer the modern look of the newer versions. The SS YM is beautiful in my opinion, but I just didn’t wear it much. I do have the RG YM and love it!
As others have said consider adding unless one is really not getting much wrist time. I recently added my first Patek and am looking to add another brand or two as nothing in the Rolex catalogue is really appealing to me right now (I will probably pick up an Explorer 36 at some point though).
Good luck!

TBH I'd sell the YM Rhodium and maybe the bluesy and get some variety in the collection with an AP or something different

I’d be happy with that lineup and unless I was chasing a grail reference I’d leave it at that for now.

Hard to answer as its personal taste. I'd change a lot,

But what's universal is I dont think they should all be Rolex. Variety is good.

You could go vintage. Zenith El Primero, Universal Geneve Compax. Heuer Autavia, Breitling Top Time, Wakmann Triple Date, Tudor Monte Carlo
