Ok since this has become a rather large Panny section of TRF
Does anyone have a collection of wrist shots that include bracelet models for my viewing pleasure? Also 40mm wrist shots would be nice. 44mm fit me nicely but I am still having probs with the flashiness of such a large watch on my small wrist.
Bah while we are at it, If anyone has wrist shots of Master Compressors (any model) and Aquatimers that would be great too. Fanks a rot. |

I will see if I can wrestly my wife/now daughters 40mm for the GTG.
Will throw the black rubber strap on it, if I am allowed to take this one along. I'm not sure the GTG list wants to try it on with either the pink , light blue or read Gator straps

Hey I will not doubt it for one second that the Daytona is my bling bling watch. Whats even more sad is that one of the front runners of my next purchase has a chrome bracelet but then again a JLC is a pretty blingin' watch

Roger,
At first glance it's not easy to tell a 40mm Panny from a 44mm on someone's wrist. The look VERY similar IMHO, i.e. almost equally big. And don't forget that what makes a Pam look big is not just the diameter of the face/bezel, but its thickness - it will protrude from your wrist unlike any Rolex. Given this, I would suggest splurging on a 44mm. I, like you (and many before you), was at first only considering a 40mm - especially after trying on a 44mm at an AD. But the selection of 40mm's sucks in comparison, and over time you'll regret it. At least that's what I've been led to believe by vocal 40mm owners who super-sized down the road. You'll find a ton of wrist shots at paneristi.com and viapaneristi.com. Good luck. |

I also heard that straps for the 40mm are a bit harder to come by, alot less to choose from when compared to the 44mm.... another thing to consider I suppose.
