Got the BLRO call

Got a text to see when I was coming to Carmel next, on Sunday night. I responded about 4-5 hours after receiving the text as I was emergently called in to the hospital to help save a 59-yr-old. On Monday I got an incredible picture of a BLRO on an oyster bracelet, I was very excited and immediately called Audrey at Fourtane to seal the deal!!!

I had been reading a lot about the ability to obtain a Jubilee bracelet and recent rules from Rolex. I was told that I could pay $2100 for the Jubilee and keep the oyster bracelet as well. So I’m not sure what end result will be, I can’t make it down to Carmel for a few more weeks so I’ll be waiting patiently to make this trip :-)

Hopefully we will see more being released to AD’s and I hope more TRF members get the call as well!!!!

It will be interesting to see if and when I get a Jubilee, I will post on this tread when it’s delivered :-)

These do not pop up very often! I’m so glad you have an AD wiling to work with you and take payment over the phone.

Congratulations on the impending incoming.

Sweet! Congrats on your new GMT, I haven’t taken mine off except showers and sleep. It keeps perfect time, like not 1 second off with my routine which is really odd but no complaints.

I’m sure this will be me as well. I had a 116710LN when they first came out in 2007. Loved it but passed it on to my youngest when she graduated from USF. I gave my oldest my 1675 Pepsi, when she graduated UC Davis. I loved having a GMT, but since gifting my GMT’s I had moved on to, Sub’s, SD’s and Eve a DSSD. I do miss the lower profile of the 116710/126710 and can’t wait to pick this one up :-)

Congrats. It's fabulous on the oyster as well, so my rec is to try it out before deciding to spend the extra coin on the jubilee.

Thanks Stark1 for the suggestion :-) I agree, I will probably wear this one with the oyster 99% of the time but would like to have a jubilee for special occasions. I did purchase a Rolex tool kit from a member on TRF and since then, I enjoy switching things up a bit with different bands. Thanks for the thought as I’m right in line with you!!!

Stark1, you were correct!!! I sized both, went with the Oyster…. I’m sure from time to time I will wear the Jubilee for special occasions, but the Oyster is nostalgic and substantial.

Big congrats and good to see another healthcare worker here :). I support ancillary systems for one of the largest providers in NCAL.

And I love Carmel too....we stay there like every year we want a coastal getaway (I'm in Sacramento!). I'm on the waitlist for batman at my AD in Walnut Creek.
