What type of movement does my Rolex have?

Hi,
I have been wondering what type of movement my Rolex has if it’s a datejust and has a Z serial # and how can i find out if it's a 31 mm or 36mm?

The movement is a Rolex inhouse Caliber 3135. The reference number told
you about what model you have. It tells you both size and config.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

Assuming you already own this and at the risk of stating the blatantly obvious, why don't you just measure it (assuming further that you can't tell from just looking)?

I do already own this watch but I am not a watch expert like you, and was not sure from what point to what point I should measure, that’s why I asked the question. Again thanks Jocke for answering my question.

My pleasure.

You should measure from 9 to 3 o'clock without the crown to get the size.
