My wife will wear it... and for her third time promptly proceed to scratch the crystal of the timepiece on my wrist. She's 2 for 2 so far in scratching my crystals, and lost one timepiece.

Ah, but we love who we love. But yeah, ummm, that is a big NO on that piece. Too dangerous for other pieces here.

How do you scratch sapphire crystal in normal use? I have scratched plenty of plastic type...

He forgot to mention the huge diamond she carries on her ring finger!

My wife scratched the crystal on my GMT MASTER II with her diamond ring. Diamonds are harder than sapphire crystal and can scratch them.

Stunning watch. Fortunately Rolex still wanders of the beaten track and produces works of art.

Rumor has it there’s a watch somewhere in there.

Not for me personally but you have to admire the craftsmanship and artistry behind it at least to some degree.

I’ve scratched mine on my 216570 on a hotel room glass table topper. I banged and dragged it pretty hard in the darkness.

Wife uses diamonds like a weapon as she just swings her arms, etc without care. Diamonds beat sapphire crystal.

My wife has ruined two on me on cruises while dancing.
Those rings are like fine ninja swords.

I wouldn't wear that watch if it was gifted to me. You put your arm or life in danger wearing that thing.

Actually, robbers are watching the same social media posts and have caught onto everyone saying that "plain jane watches hold more value and diamond watches ruin value". If you look up armed robberies of watches and deaths, most of them will be plain jane. Here's a list

The 49ers player was shot in San Francisco over a datejust 41.

Here's a guy that was murdered bc they wanted his fake 5712
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cpe0z59kp00o

Here's a guy that got robbed of his aquanaut
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...h-Mayfair.html

Here's a report of multiple aquanauts stolen
https://www.instagram.com/p/C_meRrLs...V2YTM5eA%3D%3D
Also diamond watches have proven to increase in value as well. Last year Rolex paid $4m for a 6270, first gemset daytona.

I know people get robbed with all types of expensive watches. My point is that this thing will call plenty of bad attention and in my opinion too loud. Again, I don't like it, and I would never wear it. Different strokes for different folks.

Piece Unique

I am confused by the descriptive card - I don't believe Rolex has cased a YM in a platinum case.

For those that can wear such an exceptional piece, good on you! Personally, I can’t even imagine a scenario where I could pull it off. Congrats!
