Please Tudor release this!

I absolutely loved my blue FXD but sold it after a while as it was just too big.

A 39 or 40mm FXD would be PERFECT, and more in line with the original military watches on which the line is inspired.

I noticed a lot of watch manufacturers have Novelty 'sections' on their website now. Must be a better way to distinguish special editions, random diamond encrusted disasters, etc. from typical product lines.

Quoted from an older reply on WUS:

When the words "novelty" and "watch" are used in the same sentence most people think of a watch with the image of Mickey Mouse or a politician on the dial.

In the world of Watch Geeks (AKA Watch Idiot Savants) the word novelty is an english translation of the french word nouveauté (which means "new") and in WIS-speak for recently released watches usually featured at a recent annual trade show like BaselWorld. In most cases a 2016 novelty loses that moniker once the 2017 novelties are announced.

Struggling to get excited about the idea of a Pelagos with a GMT bezel.

It's going to take me a bit to get used to the bezel font, but I like everything else I see.

I like the heavy knurled crown on this one. The more aggressive bezel teeth is carried over from the other FXDs but much improved over the original Pelagos coin grip IMO
Lume is interesting....are all such model lumes similar?

Not sure about the FXD, but my standard Pelagos bezel matched. It fell out constantly, but when it was there, the bezel lume matched the dial

That does seem odd

I quite like it.

L2L looks good despite the 42mm case diameter - feels wearable even for smaller wrist sizes.

I bet it's a chunky boy!
Interesting-- just noticed what looks like a change in straps going forward... Tudor moving away from Velcro straps for Pin Buckle Cloth straps? There are some photos on Tudors site that are with the listed included pin buckle strap cloth strap while others photos show what looks like an all green velcro strap.
They moved away from the velcro on the cycling FXD, I wonder if that will change on the standerd FDX divers in the future.
