Just got offered a 126515LN

My AD just offered me a 126515LN Rose Gold with Sundust dial on Osterflex.

Funny thing is I just bought a 116518LN Yellow Gold "Pikachu" a few weeks ago. Gray market of course due to it being discontinued.

Similar watches but how can I refuse. Very excited to have both RG and YG Daytona's!

Congrats! welcome to the club! You're going to love having Glidelock with oysterflex, makes it such a better fit.

Picked it up this afternoon. Now I have siblings. I'm surprised how much they actually differ in person side by side. One is dressy, subtle and modern while the other is sporty and flashy.

Congrats! Yes, get the "ghost" and your collection will be complete

I personally love the RG sundust dial.

Which one do you consider dressy, subtle and modern? RG?

The real question is which do you prefer? I have a 116 and a 126 and I have one I prefer over the other. And if people actually saw both I think they would be very surprised by my choice.

Tough question to answer at this point because one of them is brand new to me and hasn't had any wrist time. At this point I like them both for very different reasons.

The newer Everose version looks slightly more modern and has a more upscale dressier look to it. Extremely beautiful!

The YG version with the black outlined hour markers make it look much sportier and it's less subtle on the wrist due to the YG being bright than Everose.

How do you pick a favorite child? Which one do you happen to prefer?

I happen to prefer my 126518 golden black subdials. I like the cleaner dial and the glidelock.i also don’t mind the ring around the bezel. My 116519 is just that space dial.

Congrats!

What are your thoughts on the 11-series w/easy link v. the 12-series w/glide lock?

The glidelock is far superior. No doubt about it. Luckily the 11 series fits my wrist perfectly so I lucked out in that regard.
