My first AP

I feel very fortunate with this one - first AP purchased just took possession of this grey 15510st. I’ve been curious and a bit obsessed with this classic design for a while now. The grey dial is my style - love the monochromatic look that draws attention to the case/bracelet angles.

Congrats! I think the gray dial is quite underrated. Also, curious, what’s your wrist size? Fits very well.

And was this from a boutique or gray?

Was very fortunate to buy this one from a boutique - wrist size is about 7.75 inches or so.

Congratulations, fits you perfectly!
Yes, the grey dial is uniquely suited to the RO precisely for the reasons you mentioned.

Congratulations. AP watches are well finished and really full of style. Try a code 1159 sometimes and you will be surprised.

Looks good congrats!! The silver and grey dials etc are so nice in person...I just think too often people don't get a chance to see them first so they focus on blue etc

Awesome! I’m on the list for a 37mm RO in either grey or blue. Whenever I see the grey, makes me lean in that direction!

Hopefully my allocation comes soon. How long did you wait for yours?

I had originally looked into it about three years ago with the Atlanta store, but they closed as they were associated with watches of Switzerland. That was a real bummer. Reached out to another boutique, who were very gracious to get me set up given that I had waited as long as I had. Took about five months time.

Funny I’m in a similar situation. Originally looked at the 37mm RO at a boutique 3 years ago and requested the watch. I followed up maybe 2 times, but never really heard back.

Recently went again, and for some reason feels like this time around I’ll get allocated one! (Maybe just needs that few years of interest to let it settle in, hah). Hopefully I get an allocation in a few months timeframe like you.

Congrats! Have the same watch with 50th rotor, love it. Question.. when you wind it do you need to shake the watch once gently to get the second hand moving?

I haven’t had that experience yet.
