SS Skydweller conversion to Oysterflex strap

Hi everyone,

I’m curious if anyone here has experience converting their stainless steel Sky-Dweller to an Oysterflex strap. I remember hearing from someone that the lug width are slightly different.

Is it possible to use the endlinks and Oysterflex straps from the precious metal Sky-Dweller models for this?

Are there any reliable aftermarket options that fit well and maintain the watch’s aesthetic?

I’d love to hear from anyone who’s tried this or has insights. Thanks so much for your time and help!

Cheers,
Kevin

Can’t be done without third party conversion end links.

You can, however, do a previous gen pm leather strap to oysterflex without mod

There is a moda vendor that created the sky end links. I have a set and the match perfectly and can fit an OF strap on there.

The endlinks only “finish” the look, you don’t need them to fit an Oysterflex band. I think the Skydweller has 21mm lugwidth, make sure to measure before buying any. I have not seen the aftermarket endlinks mentioned but that’s an option too.
Be aware that ADs are not supposed to sell OF halves for watches that didn’t come with them. If you can find some they are almost $600 a pair. Straps on sells some similar generic rubber straps that will give the look for a fraction of the cost, using your clasp as well.
