Yachtmaster 40mm
What are the thoughts are on the 126622
Rhodium Dial Platinum Bezel With the sky blue second hand.. MSRP at the AP is 12300 I think and they are all over for 13k gently used. Some Unworn for 14 Is this a good watch to get? A few grey market dealers say it’s a sport watch and kinda hard to get. An AP I Know said last one they saw in the store was over a year ago… Just curious on opinions lol Thanks |

If you like it, yes it's a good watch to get.
Personally, I like it a lot. It's on my list at the AD. The case sides are rounded, not slab/flat. I love the dial and hand colors. I like the bezel, but it is pretty flashy. Good luck in your decision! |

It's the only Rolex that has a platinum bezel. I have two of the Yacht-Master 40s one in the blue dial and one in the gray or I suppose rhodium dial I'm not sure if there's a difference but the purpose and the reason I purchased them the first the purpose is it's just a different watch with a platinum bezel that I find very attractive and I suppose I could say that's the reason I purchased it also.

The most worn out of my collection, had the choice of sub and this. Don’t regret one bit!
I have slate dial, it’s a dressy sports watch for me |

The Rhodium dial in person is beautiful on the Yacht-Master. Be patient and you will get a great example on the secondary market . Good luck!

I owned this piece for a few years and it’s beautiful. As others have said, extremely comfortable to wear.

I’m in the blue dial camp too, but honestly both versions are awesome. You can’t go wrong with either.

If you like it, it’s a great watch. I love the watch. I had a blue dial. For me, it’s more comfortable than a 6 digit Submariner or GMT.

I'm proud to say the blue 126622 is my very first rolex and I have no regrets getting it at all! If I remember correctly, there was never a blue dial stainless steel rolex ever, other than the YM. Not too sure bout the slate dial but if it's the same as the blue dial, then that makes the stainless steel YM models an incredible model yea

Exactly. Plus the bezel ring on the platinum Daytona.
How about the blue dial SS DJ, SkyD, OP + OP Date and Milgauss?

Too monochromatic for me - much prefer the OG with platinum dial.

In early 2019, I was able to walk in to my local AD and buy the 11 series 40mm YM with grey dial and blue second hand as a gift for my dad's 60 yr birthday; he really loves it and wears it everyday. That was also the first Rolex purchase experience I had. At that time I was debating between the YM and BLNR for my dad. AD told me BLNR has a waitlist and they did not know how long it would take. So the choice became simple and I am really glad my dad enjoys the watch so much. OP, be patient, and good luck! |

I think these are pretty available from an AD. I was surprised at the heft. I think the platinum bezel makes it a moderately-heavy watch. I don't say that as a bad thing, either.

I had this for a couple of years. Gorgeous, incredibly comfortable, but my problem with it was the hands would get washed away with the rhodium dial and it became difficult to read the time. So off she went after a couple of years.
