Yep,you are right.I thank my YANKS for putting the money back into the team and not there pockets.MAYBE that is why they are always the BEST.Maybe you should write some letters to your ownership and encourage them to do the same.26 and counting. If you want the best, you have got to PAY,Just like ROLEX.Yankees in 5.

They are going with a 3-man rotation for the ALCS. The payroll number for that 3-man rotation is more than many teams.

I haven't watched a single pitch this postseason.

OK guys, this is starting to bother me now. I haven't had network TV on my cable system for 36 hours due to this stinking early snow we had. At least the Phils on on TBS!

Lol! Yankee fans crack me up. The Yankees have advantages most teams do not have. It's not as simple as saying other teams don't put money back into their teams, because they do.

The Yank-mes local TV contract alone is massive and dwarfs those of other teams. That is the case for one reason: they are in New York.

Just remember, in spite of their massive overspending on free agents and band box ballparks, your precious babies haven't done squat since 2000.

Cheers.

Being from a National League town, we don't much get upset about those things. No matter what, it is hard to win the pennant. Just ask the Braves with only one to show for all of their efforts. If they would have gone the free agent route to get some hitting, I would not have minded.

I don't waste my energy hating the Yank-mes. There's better things to do with it. And the "machine" has done nothing with its $200M payroll since 2000. Nice long drought.
