watch on Letterman last night
Did anyone see President Obama on Letterman last night? Obama's watch looked to be stainless (maybe wg?) with a black leather band, but I couldn't determine what kind of watch it was....it did look elegant.
Anyone catch that? Thanks!

I was watching the office a hour earlyer and saw a commerical with obama being on lettermans show, but i did not see the watch. Also just to throw this out there "How does he have time to go on the letterman show, shouldn't he at in the white house signing more bills?"

It was a gift from his Secret Service detail during the campaign. Mike, a fellow TRF member, has one and I was luck enough to check it out at the Vintage GTG. dP

thanks for the info...i didn't want to start a political discussion, just trying to hone my skills at recognizing watches in the wild...i'm not very good at it and find myself staring at people's wrists...lol...practice will make perfect!

Just adding on to Dan's info. It's made by Jorg Gray. The model is a 6500 Chronograph. Here is a link if you'd like to check it out. http://www.barackswatch.com/the-watch/

He's back to wearing the Tag Heuer professional diver now and then as well, which is a thousand times better than the SS Chronograph.
