Bezel Pearl

Hi, my name is Rob and I'm a brand new Rolex owner since purchasing my new Deepsea a few days ago. I love my new watch and can't stop looking at it. Can anyone please tell me what the little pearl on the bezel is? Is there a reason why it's there?

It's glowing in the dark so you can see when it's time to get up and get some fresh air.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

The reason for the pearl is, when you go diving you rotate the pearl on the bezel to where the minute hand is, & from there you will have a guide to how many minutes have elapsed to where the minute hand is currently! used mostly for timing decompression stops etc. Also very handy for the parking meter in a real life situation!
congrats on the deepsea by the way & welcome to the club.
