Uk members: info re: dial change at RSC

guys and gals,

Currently keeping my options open so I'd like to know what's the process and costs related for a dial change at the uk rolex service centre.

This would be a normal dial ie. non diamond or special treatment dial changes.

Thanks.

Just ask your AD or the RSC for the brochure which shows the dials available for your watch and then place order. Just had mine changed for £220 at Bexley.

thanks Dan.

That was a super quick reply.
What was the cost breakdown if you don't mind me asking. They would obviously keep the old dial?

Will price be different for different models? For an example, a DJ dial costs more than an air king dial, like for like.

Thanks mate.

You can get the dial back if you ask for it, and I think the prices for standard dials are relatively similar across the board. They may require a service on the watch as well, depending on its age.

thanks. If I go this route the watch will be a brand new piece. Apparently the dial I want will not be available as a spare part for at least another couple of months.... According the st James RSC today....

good question. Will give them a buzz tomorrow.
Would you happen to have their number handy? Where exactly are they located?

I'm not entirely sure, but I know my AD refers all of their service work to them - I'm sure one of the other British members could chime in with the details
