might be getting gmt ceramic today

called store up north - they offered 20% off with no sals tax - awesome deal!!

went to mayors last night with the wife..they would not come close to that price

wife found a diamond ring she liked..i bid them a package price.. (basically 25% off the total)....im sure they have more markup in rings...i walked out when they didnt get to me price..they called today..we are $200 apart..i might try to meet in the middle...if i do i get my gmt today rather than waiting 4-6 weeks from store up north..we shall see...any advice or opinions?

The gmt creamic you are getting is all steel?? are you sure the ad can give you 20% of that?or maybe you are getting the 2 tone?they can give more discount on the tt,but ss i don't think ad can give 20%??SS gmt2c retail is 7t,so if they give you 20% off,it will just be 5,600usd?and no tax?great deal!!Even the greymarket prices are slightly higher than that....

since you are having combo package it cannot be compared with sellers here. If you are happy with it go for it.

Mayors will do 35% off on the ring if you demand it.

I would buy the watch seperate or make sure your getting a real discount on the watch.

That is a great deal. I bought my SS GMT IIc at mayors and got 10% off on a package deal I also took a Cartier Ballon Blaue for my wife.

Now I think I got ripped off!!!

Take advantage.

Is it your friend or their friend ? If it is a friend of the business they would be liable until the watch gets to you right?

They want me to pick someone. I dont want to involve others snd it's a lot of responsibility. If something happens I could be out a lot of money.

Might just go shopping for other rings and order the watch at 20% off from a great ad. With no tax.

$5600 is a steal. Jump all over it or you'll be kicking yourself later.

So let me see if I understand, let's say for argument's sake, the total retail price of the watch and ring is $10,000, you offered $7,500 for both, as opposed to offering the equivalent of just 25% off the watch and full retail for the ring, right?

I think the question is whether your wife feels 25% off on the ring is a good deal. If so, then why not buy both together? And, as far as shipping, if it's insured, what's the problem? You can send it to a relative out of state and they can send it right back. Probably won't cost you more than $50 for the whole thing.

5600 out the door for the watch is great. I paid more than that, got 15 off plus no interest financing for a year. Felt like i got a good deal, maybe could have been sweeter but a couple hundred bucks amortized over all the years you are going to enjoy your purchase doesn't really put a hurting on you.
