What happened to the prices of the 15300ST?
I was just checking them out and I'm seeing them all way above the 25k mark? What did I miss the past few months? Or am I looking at the wrong model?
This watch was new 11-12k back in the day. I knew they were popular the last few years at 13-14k but now it's doubled already? How? |

This is all part of the steel sport craze, if Daytona’s are going for 25k, then 15300 is reasonable at that price

It’s because people want the 39mm 15202 badly with incredible demand and prices for the 15202 are through the roof so the 15300 in 39mm is the next best thing also with tons of demand. I have a 15300OR and on a croc strap it wears more like a 41mm because the lugs protrude very far.

Look at the prices of everything else. They are also very high
15300 is a desireable size of 39mm and a good choice for those who want a seconds hand and quick set compared to the 15202. There don't seem to be many 15300s for sale. So for those who do own it - they seem to be holding on to them |

39mm seems to be a sweet spot, but 15202 commands a big premium these days. Thus, value lies in getting a 15300 for 39mm fulfillment.

I honestly think its a sub 15k watch. Wait if you can. Same story with the older jumbo.

Not that long ago I listed my 15300 for sale at 25k. Tons of emails/PM's and "sold" in minutes. Luckily for me the buyer backed out for personal reasons and I ended up keeping it. I still toy with the idea of selling it and then today I put it on, that thought goes out the window. To me, it really is the perfect RO. I dont really like the jumbo with no quickset date and no second hand, it's just not for me but I get those who appreciate those traits.

That's funny because to those who supposedly want the jumbo for provedance and all that, the older jumbo is closest to the original. So really, those should be more expensive and for some reason, they are not. If I was to ever want a jumbo, that would be the one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
