rolex shops pricing across europe
Hey
I bought my sky dweller stainless steel black dial with 14.450 euro from official rolex shops in east europe. Then one week later saw that in Vienna Rolex shops actually sells it for 13.150 euro. Is it normal that official rolex shops are doing different prices across europe ? Or is it a rip off ? br, Mike |

There's a sticky at the top of this subforum listing prices by country. You can check for yourself.

It might all depend on the sales tax rate. All european countries have different rates. Unlike the U.S. the price shown on an item already includes the tax. That's why it's smart to shop there as tax rates can be anywhere from 15% to 23% and that provides great savings for foreign buyers.

On Chronolink Bucharest this is the price. I buy it from Prague with 13250€. They do that because are the only Rolex dealer in Romania. Sorry my friend I answer in English because on this forum all use this language. But, ENJOY |

The problem with that is, not all countries use Euros, and in some countries, the price will be the same as EU net price+tax. For example IIRC Sweden and Czechia are examples of that. If you take a VAT free price of 10958 (calculated from taking Austrian price of 13150 and dividing by 1.2) and multiply it by 1.21 you will get a Czech price converted to Euros listed by other forum member (more or less rounded to closest 50). In Romania it seems to not be the case. |
