Real? If so, any info?
Hi so this probably sounds like blasphemy in a rolex forum, but I'm not really a watch guy and I could use some help. I found a watch in a bulk lot of jewelry that I bought. It appears to be a real rolex from the front, however it's vintage and a lot of the "rules" for determining authenticity don't seem to be set in stone, especially with the older watches. The movement of the hands leads me to believe it's at least a real mechanical watch, but the stamp on the back, the cheap looking stainless/plated band, and the lack of crown on the stem key all make me a little unsure. My ultimate goal is to sell the watch to be honest, but I don't want to walk into a pawn shop or jeweler with a fake watch that could get me in trouble or a real one that I don't know the value of. Any help is appreciated. Thanks everyone! Quick Note! The pictures look a little blurry, my camera struggled to focus and there's some light scratches on the watch glass, in person the watch face is actually quite beautiful. Also the links have a space before the "." because apparently im too new for links.

Fake as fake can be. Gold wearing off. Looks cheap and worn. Day Dates don't come in two tone. However there was the Tridor and that is certainly not it. Not worth 5 dollars. To be honest. May be good for a beater watch though.

There was one made as a prototype but not for production for sure. Part of the stainless steel protoypes given to rolex watchmakers and executives Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Gold bezel looks genuine to me, fakes are not made this way and are always much thicker so maybe worth getting that of and checked it will flip of with a Stanley blade as it will be 18kt if real.
