You should have done a bundle deal with a Daytona

Explorer?

That unfortunately is the best case I've seen on here in a long time! Was that an Explorer?
I bet your mom is happy! Good for you!

Laskers in Rochester MN. There was an explorer, gold sub, bunch of datejusts in the other case and then an empty case in the center haha

Nothing special? That is the new WG YM, or at the least, the RG version.

Along with a bluesy, polar, and Explorer, you probably need to recalibrate your definition of special.

This.

It took me two months and several AD trips to get a hold of that Polar, and in all those trips I saw none of these watches anywhere.

The YG Bluesy especially is a special watch imo

Casual flex; "nothing special" when most of the people on here would die to get this selection at their local AD.

A Polar in an AD case? Without even spending a dime? That's like Hailey's comet.

Man if I saw that, I'd be sleeping on the couch for a week. But at least I'd have a polar on my wrist

That's a nice display on today's market. Funny how a year and a half ago Explls sat and many people were dogging them but now it's hot and going over msrp on the grey. I was hot and cold as well until I tried one on at my AD in june '18, bought it and they became far and few since. I dont see any of them or the Bluesey making it to the showcase now.

I posted this a couple days ago. The Govberg watch case had about 25 watches on display. I didn't want to take a picture since I've never purchased from them and felt it wasn't proper. They did size my D41 put no Subs or GMT on display. Must be in the back safe..

Just got back from the local AD to get my DJ41 sized. The cases were pretty fill compare to when I was there in April. Lots of DJ mostly small size but also some Explorers, DJ41, OP39 and a DD in gold and another with diamonds around the bezel. Also a few Cellini. Didn't see any subs or GMT in display case. Didn't ask since I've never purchased from them but been there twice to get my AK and DJ41 sized. Was asked if I purchased the DJ41 from them and I just said no. No problem at all and both times no charge.

Everyone relax, please. I think by "nothing special", the OP just meant he didn't see any super hot SS pieces (Daytona, BLRO, BLNR, LVc).

Actually looks pretty decent compared to the Professional/Sports model cases here locally. I only ever see YM2 at the most. Even PM watches are usually not displayed.

I’ve visited 3 AD’s in Dallas this week looking a piece for the wife and the selection is awful. Literally just Datejusts/OP and a few TT yachtmasters at any of the 3 places.

The watch cases here in Vegas are slowly beginning to fill up. Steel sports is still nearly impossible to find, but there was a deep sea in a case for about a day before it got snapped up and I do think that is the trend... (I was also offered a platinum 37mil yatchmaster) to place a piece or two in the case at a time. Mostly it's been women's watches enmasse and the highly embellished solid gold men's pieces.

Thankfully I have access to six AD's all within walking distance and even more within a 20 minute drive.
