If you think you’ve heard all of the Rolex nicknames, guess again..

This article surfaces some I haven’t heard of. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing!!

The Sprite though I don't think so. You can't give a nickname to a fake watch that wasn't even designed by Rolex.

I'm surprised the author missed the Patrizzi Daytona and Cream Rail Explorer 2 though

I’m very glad there’s no cartoon name for the simple submariner!

The Steve McQueen.

A real collectors piece although he never owned or wore one. And undoubtedly had better taste.

Oops.

Apparently no love for the original Root Beer (aka: Tiger's Eye and Clint Eastwood) Really? I mean c'mon the CHNR doesn't even have nipple markers.

I find it hard to believe that they missed the original "Root Beer," not that there is anything wrong with the new "Root Beer."

I've never heard or read of anyone referring to the "Coke" as the "Coca Cola," either.

Also, and I could be wrong, but the Explorer II with the Rail Dial seems to have the "Frog Foot" coronet, while the one labeled "Frog Foot, has then normal coronet.

A little research dug up this article from Hodinkee that refers to the "Kermit," as the "Froggie." That's a new one on me.

I cringe whenever anyone refers to the new one as rootbeer

How do you think they came to the "Dominos Pizza" nickname?
