So I sold my Explorer 39 (Ramble)

Now idk what to replace it with. Not sure to stick with Rolex or not. So many interesting watches out there. Other times I've bought and ended up selling other brands Omega, Iwc , Ap I always end up jonesing for Rolex. The batgirl keeps calling but also a couple of GS. This is going to be difficult.
Random thoughts
Might need some help here guys

SubC date
Datejust 41 blue fluted jubllee

If the bottom two are in your collection, I would maybe branch out of the crown into something else. There are a lot of good brands out there, and great findings in each.

Well I'd ask most importantly why did you sell your Explorer 1?

That would help make an appropriate suggestion I think

Didn't get much wrist time. A bit too vanilla + the fact that I was always worried about scratching that flat polished bezel.

People either love the Explorer or they do not care for it. it seems. I found it bit too large. I think the original at 36mm is the way to go. What to buy. Take your time, there is no hurry.

I’m so glad you people don’t refer to my BLRO as a Pepsigirl.

If you are worried about scratching your watch....never mind that’s another discussion...but why not go with a ceramic bezel this time.

Then perhaps it's time for a Ceramic Daytona.

I would seriously consider a watch with smaller font. But, that's just me.

Internet forums and instagram act as an echo chamber with certain models. If really stuck perhaps disconnect from those streams for a few weeks and see what speaks out to you?

I agree. Take some time to disconnect and determine for yourself what you are truly interested in. Good luck.

Sounds like ceramic bezel models may be your best bet. Good luck!

I've been wanting to do this! Like the watch equivalent of going on silent retreat. We should all go to Nepal for a month to find out our true watch wishes! Lol
