All the Explorer talk has me thinking

Its a boring day in the base and office due to some delays, its "cyber Monday" so the internet is getting abused, and all of the Explorer talk that seems to be raising its head lately has got me thinking.

I spotted a 5 digit, black dial, tritium, box and papers, for what I concider a decent price and found myself looking at my 666 and actually concidering a change. This has never happened.

I cant figure if its a subliminal thing with the heightened awareness of the Explorer II I'm seeing, or if its an itch that could/should be scratched since stumbling across a nice example at a reasonable price.

lead me astray or slap me TRF ..... internet and boredom are a deadly mix sometimes.

i am assuming you have 16660 a Seadweller... if I am correct, then there is NO WAY that i would ever trade that for a Exp2.

If you want to simply buy another exp2 because its a good deal, sure go for it. I would get a polar to compliment the SD though...

Chuckles...
The internet got you itching to a hasty decision..I won't advice you make the purchase though especially because you might not get the same comfort..and it ends in regrets..

FWIW, compared to a gmt2, the E2 represents great value on the used market.

I have the same bug these days - I keep looking for an Exp2, black dial. I won't let go of an SD for it, but I would trade a Tudor Sub...maybe...
