This has been bugging me for days, so you have motivated me to go to his website where I finally found the answer. When I listened to it, heard the bass notes, I knew this was it! "Thrill Me" from his album, Stars, released in 1991. Thinking back, it might have been circumstances in my life as much as the song itself that made the impression on me. And after listening to it just now I realize it wasn't a little "groan" Mick did - it was a growl! Pretty hot! Still does it for me!
