We went with two RX350's and never looked back. They are absolutely fantastic vehicles.

The german cars are high maintenance after warranty and have high depreciation. If your leasing than that would not be an issue.

For my money, I'd go with the Lexus.
Good point on leasing. Our payment on our fully-loaded 2.0L turbo A4 is actually $60 less per month than it was on our Honda Element.

My wife at the wheel:

They had the R8 at the show room... WOW! I thought it was so sweet! Just need to win the lottery.

We're tempted to get the Q5 now after my current MB B200 turbo turns 3 in Sept. Sat in the Q5 during the recent motorshow and man, it feels good. Since it's so new (no good deals as well as no real owners feedback etc), I'm inclined to wait several months before making a decision.

A couple of Audi shots during the recent Melbourne motor show. Sorry, didn't think about taking pictures for the Q5

Actually, the residuals are still unknown... But, the money factor must be pretty low. You can get the "mid" level for about $530 a month... That would mean pretty high expected residual or super low money rate. Tempting...
