Various USPS service options

Trying to negotiate with a ebay seller the best way to send in the goods from US to Australia...
USPS Priority Air - he said he can insure with this but no tracking number.
USPS First class registered - that offers tracking number but no insurance.

Is there one option that is registered, insured with tracking number?

Of course - USPS Global Express! And Priority Air actually has tracking and insurance, so you are being told wrong info.

Another option is Global Express Guaranteed (GXG). It is submitted to USPS, but FedEx actually delivers it - US to Australia is around 3-5 days. All the forms are at the post office, it is only slightly more expensive than USPS Express. You will have USPS Tracking PLUS FedEx tracking/insurance.

Hope this helps!
