I collect the Tiny Texas Toothpick and other stag handled Case patterns. I also like the pearl handled knives by Case. And have a few of the new Swayback Jacks and Liner lock Trappers(of course in Stag)

I collect scale die-cast vehicles. Although my collection has shrunk considerably, I still have some fairly collectable ones (to me anyway, maybe not in the grand scheme of die-casts) that I may not let go. My interests/money has shifted almost entirely to watches as of late. There are still some "grail" die-casts out there that I think I will still purchase, someday.

I collect harmonicas...well not really collect them, I just have a load in different keys. If I collected I'd buy all the dumba$$ special edition and endorsed harps. I just buy what sounds good in what key I need.

If I could afford it I'd collect tube amps and harp mics but I can't so I don't!!!!!

I have a bunch of comic books, novels and text books but like my cd's, dvds, video games and LPs they are just "stuff"...they aint a collection.

I also have a bunch of cookery books so I guess that's a a collection (although if I was collecting I'd but the El Bulli books and possibly the fat duck cookbook).

I collect coins and bears (mainly expensive Rupert Bears) for my son.

My wife seems to collect hair straighteners!!!!!!

Dig these, Jim - our most recent additions - this one circa 1928 for our entry foyer:

And this one, circa 1930, for the bedroom sitting room (the little lamp on the dresser is old, too):

Nice Tiffany style fitting in the first pic...would go great in my dining room.

The Art Deco style fitting in the bed/sitting room is gorgeous and is really complemented by the emulsion colours.

Next time I'm out and about I'll see if I can dig anything up for you....

Now that's 1920-30's fittings and a couple of chimney pots on the list!!!!!!!!!

This one's for you, Lisa. Bought this art deco lamp over 20 years ago. I remember the shop owner told me if I broke one of the globes just throw the whole thing away cause I'd never find another. So far, so good.

Oh, Dan! You know how to get a gal excited! In a nice way!

Seriously, that is gorgeous. So Art Deco! But you know what? Ebay is a great source for slip shades. So don't despair if one ever gets broken - if you look long enough you'll probably find a replacement. I've found a few to complete our fixtures, and just a couple weeks ago sold 4 that I had that were duplicates. Just search for "slip shade" and about 100 things will pop up any given day.

I thought I already did with my "bruised ego" pic.
Thanks for the link. I'll keep that in mind.
Btw, love your vintage lighting.
