Submariner Bluesy - Hard to get?? Should I buy or pass?

Curious if the Submariner Bluesy (ref 116613LB) is hard to get from AD? My AD has one right now, and I'm wondering if I should buy or pass?

This is a watch I really like, and would buy it to wear (I'm not planning to buy this for "investment"). However I budgeted to get the SS Daytona and GMT Pepsi first. Once I get those two, the Bluesy will be next to add to my collection.

My question is are these easier to get from AD? So I pass up on this one, would I be able to get one in the future? NOTE: I will ONLY buy from AD, not looking at any grey sellers.

Also, if anyone wants it right now, I'm happy to make the connection with my AD. Just PM me here.

The AD has it right now, but I have two other watches I want to buy first (by end of this year) before I buy this one. My question, is about how long is the wait if I wanted to get one later.

The Rolex ref 116613LB, in my opinion is their iconic watch and is their bread and butter piece. That being said, I wouldn't jump on it right now especially given the climate we're currently in with the world's economy. Save the money and wait for the more "difficult" pieces. I don't think that the 116613LB will ever be a crazy difficult piece to get but I could be wrong. As of right now, supposedly Rolex, the company/manufacturer has everything shut down yet the Rolex dealers are now desperately trying to unload the once coveted "professional" series line.

There’s a few listed on the forums for less than msrp so I’d say pretty easy to obtain.

Watch market is getting much better as the flippers and culture vultures are moving on. The prices are coming down across the board

The bluesy is not hard to get from an AD...if you’re able to score a GMT or Daytona from your rep you should have no problem landing another bluesy.

This, but I'll add I don't think the GMT Pepsi is attainable either without a very long wait, unless you have some serious history with this AD. You picked two models you'll likely be waiting a very long time for.

Agree. IMO if you have the money and you plan on buying the 3 watches within the year then I would suggest leveraging the Bluesy in a bundle for the SS GMT Pepsi and Daytona. In today’s climate most AD’s would be hard pressed to turn that down considering it’s a $37K spend.

If you plan to only buying from AD, and you want a Pepsi, and Daytona in the future, then I suggest you buy the TT Sub now. You will establish buying history with AD, and he may appreciate you giving him cash during hard times.If you have connections, and don’t need buying history , then buy it from grey or used for under retail. Remember the movement in the Sub will be changed, so no need to hurry, these will be much cheaper from grey when this happens.

bluesy and smurf have been super easy to find even in the peak of the craziness. Absolutely not hard to find.

Nope; this has nothing to do with FOMO; save your assumptions. I was genuinely curious about availability of this watch. I actually have list of watches I want to have as part of my collection, both for Rolex and other brands and over time have been buying those pieces.

One of my limited edition pieces took me 3 years to source, so I’m now doing more research when an opportunity comes up. Also, with today’s economic environment, I’m more cautious with my spending, just like many people.
