What was it about this thread that changed your mind?
You should always tread lightly and do your research before you spend money on anything.
As far as why Jacek made no mention to the Dial or Hands I haven’t a clue, but seeing the dial could of been flipped or hands, who ever bought the watch made out.
Unfortunately you should have pulled the trigger but because of your lack of knowledge in vintage watches you lost out.
So ya, it would benefit you if you educated yourself.

I feel like anyone has the right to back out/decide against making a purchase.

I couldn’t agree more and with a grace period to look the item over and can’t recall saying they couldn’t, please point it out.

So basically the only reason that changed my mind is the fact that what I like about vintage piece is to have something 100% original and when I read this thread I realized that the bracelet + case has been fully restore and on top of that the hands doesn't match the watch (or at least the dial).

None of that was mentioned by Jacek.

So no I am truly glad that I didn't pulled the trigger and yes you are right I still have a lot to learn in the vintage world but wait isn't why I am on this forum reading at threads like yours ??

Not sure why you so intense about that and if it was such a great deal why did you sell it in the first instance? Because from my point of view you got ride of it quite urgently after spending $$ on it...

You hit all the points I was thinking about. I mean, it’s up to the OP to what they do with their watches, and it while it did look good, it’s unclear just why there was such a quick turn-around to sell at at loss. I was definitely interested too but there were too many red flags. C’est la vie
