Hacked Account

I got word today that a fellow Rolex forum member got taken for 15500.00 USD by someone who hacked my account and listed a Rolex GMTII Red/Blue ceramic model, over on TZ. Just a warning that should anyone Post anything for sale using my user name oakalley is NOT me!! I don’t have any watches for sale and when I do, I always respond with my email and phone number.
I was totally unaware that this was going on until the buyer called me at work today then sent me a message here on this forum. Because some low life scumbag hacked my account, it has been banned permanently over on TZ and I have no way of contacting their administrators to set the story straight. That of course is the least of it as the buyer is out 15500.00 dollars that he may never recover.
Please set up two stage authentication everywhere possible. I know it’s a PITA to have to get a text code every time you log in, but it's a lot safer in the long run. Let’s make it harder for scammers to set up shop!!

TRF has had it for a while - if you had activated 2FA, your account here wouldn’t have been hacked.

Also, how does a TRF account have anything to do with TZ where the scam occurred?

(Edit: just saw OP is banned here until authentication can occur)

Yes indeed.

Closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.

I think if I was in the OPs shoes, I would be more apologetic!
