Packing for a trip...
These should cover me through most situations (beach, business, formal/informal, exercise, etc.) and different time zones! What are your go to travel watches?

Depends on how safe it is where you're going. Sometimes I just take my Casio, but it would be nice to have a GMT. YMMV

Nothing. Your cell phone can do what all 3 do.....
So don’t be giving up excuses about “time zones” etc.... Use your cell on the trip.... |

Love it! I almost always take 2: one diver and one dress. For me that’s my BB58 and 60’s gold constellation.
If I had a GMT, that might be all I take! |

I always wear my GMT on trips. Yeah, my phone has time zones, but it's in my pocket, and droppable, and I don't want to leave it lying around on the beach or at the pool. My GMT is always right there and easy to read in an instant. I was just in Maui all last week, and did lots of snorkeling with it on, no worries. And wore it to some very nice restaurants. It never left my wrist and worked well in all situations!
To the OP - I love your collection though. Two (three?) classic watches. That DJ is gorgeous. -Dan

Last time I traveled I brought my Tudor GMT and my Grand Seiko 9F. The GMT was on my wrist most of the trip with the exception of semi-formal events.
Man I miss traveling :( |

Always take a seiko SKX no matter what, but it depends where I’m going.
Will take 1 nice watch sometimes, but it depends what country it is and where exactly I’m going. Taking a gold dd40 to Mexico for example is a no from me lol. |

Tensai! You cover all bases with that great combo! On vacations I normally wear my Sub or Tudor GMT and bring along a Casio G-shock.

Most times it is my Apple Watch, if Hawaii I bring my sub. If staying at a great hotel I’ll bring my day date

I only take one watch. The one I bring depends on where I’m going. It’s usually something low profile if I’m out of the US, a beater if I am hunting, or my nicer stuff if I’m going somewhere safe. It’s always just one watch though.

Great selection. I travel with multiple watches, all the time. Never know what outfit or mood you will be in. Everything is insured, and I don't travel to Beirut.

Nice set, to take, save travel!
When I leave my home I only take the one I wear. This year I wore the TT DJII in Spain.

You’ll be surprised by the number of Rolexes in Beirut.

Depends on the destination but most often when travelling, I wear my Speedmaster man on the Moon, Hesalite , solid case back, manual wind. If I am going to somewhere I know I will be in the water then I bring the Rolex Sea Dweller currently on the Rubber B strap. Neither watch attracts alot of attention and are repairable or heaven forbid replaceable.

Thanks for feedback everyone!
I constantly work and travel between NYC, Palm Beach, San Diego and Tokyo, so the GMT comes in handy. I am not worried about theft. Happy travels to all! |

I'd say you're well equipped for your travel locations. I always start with a G-Shock and then add either of a PM piece or a stainless sport dress depending on location. Iffy locations merit only the Casio.

I’d keep it real simple. If it were me, I’d just take the GMT and the Casio.

I agree with the OP, I like a choice of at least two watches when we travel. However, due to the extreme virus conditions where we usually travel internationally, we are not traveling anywhere just yet. When we resume, the smart phone is useful for setting watches!!

You’d think by some of the comments here there was no such thing as insurance. I wore my 2004 SS Sub to more than 60 countries many of them very shady without any issue. Instead she was stolen out of my condo during a house party last Fall in Atlanta.
