What Books Are You Reading?
As the new year approaches, what are you reading?
Picked up “The Splendid and the Vile” by Erik Larson (author who also wrote “Devil In the White City”). Fan of Churchill and Larson, so thinking this will be a winner. |

I'm currently reading this, Nautilus 90 degrees North. A very interesting account by the submarine commander. I thought that I'd revisit a few arctic / antarctic 1930 - 1960 "exploration" books.

Like many during my time in Covid, there is a lot of books. As the Elizabeth Holmes trial is coming up, I read Bad Blood by John Carreyrou. As an entrepreneur, her gall was astounding.

I'm also reading it right now. I have just begun the courtroom drama. What part are you at? If you are bogged down in the first quarter of the book (as I was), I recommend sticking to it.

It's been a month since I picked it up; last was the attempt to say there was no interest in the girl who through herself at him to save her father. "Sends my regards" I believe was the line. I'll have to give it another crack!!!
