Congrats on your 126710BLRO, the only consolation is that you got what you have waited this long for. But they should have informed you about getting extra watches to be able to purchase the 126710BLRO before going over AD.

Oh no.
They stitched you up in every one of the very worst possible ways That's not right at all and I would've passed on that dealer experience in a heartbeat once the sting was revealed You probably could've gone with a reputable grey dealer from beginning and still been in the same position financially and had the enjoyment of the watch without being stung. I suppose you would have watches to give as gifts to others if you were that way inclined. |

What an excellent strategy. Outstanding I personally would've been in too much shock to think that one up One could walk out of the shop, have a cup of coffee, then return immediately to claim a refund on the unopened goods. Effectively sting them straight back That'll f**k em where they won't like it It's not like that particular dealership relationship could possibly be any further compromised as a result |

Please direct him to a Reputable grey dealer where he could have obtained bnib Pepsi and been in the same position financially. Pepsi at MSRP with SEK20,000 (I doubled it for kicks). Plenty of desperate readers here would love to know where they could get such a deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Update
Hi again everyone,
I’m relieved that this appears to common in the industry, I’m still puzzled how they can get away with this type of behavior but I guess in the heat of the moment, after having waited for close to more than two years I felt a little too giddy and just pulled the trigger without much thinking, it didn’t help that my wife was egging me on and we were both super excited. At the same time we almost felt a sense of obligation, the manager went in to detail about how much these GMT-Master watches are sought after. For those who are curios, it was about 50000 SEK added on top of the price of the 126710, the watches were an identical pair of Tag Heuer Aquaracers and were the cheapest watches available in the store. |

Congrats, you’ll love it. Just sell the other two if you don’t want them.
The AD should have informed you from the outset, but otherwise this is a solid AD, doing the right thing. Would you have bought it if they told you from the start though? A merchant can sell their goods to whomever they want. So they certainly can sell a GMT II to someone willing to buy two extra watches as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Big congrats!
A picture of the Tag would help me decide how I think about the AD and whether you should keep it or dump it. I’ve been through worse with PP. At least your AD honored their word on a Rolex with your name on it.

I love it! Everything in society should work this way. It would be so much better.
"Sir, That car your ordered is ready for collection now" On Arrival "..and what other two cars will you be buying today sir so we can allow you to buy the car you ordered?" or... "and what other two plane seats would you like to pay for along with the one you actually wanted?" or... "and what other two meals would you like to buy with the one you ordered from the menu, we can't let you have the one you want unless you order two others" ... Now that is how I want every purchase experience to be. A better world for all.

Return the 2 watches you don’t want to the AD, konsumentköplagen has totally got your back on this one. You should also report this to Konsumentverket, this practice will carry on until someone says stop and the law is very much on your side in this instance. Good luck!!

According to the «konsumentköpslagen» (purchase act) you can return the 2 watches and get a full refund. Donˋt forget to to thank them with a f... y..

Konsumentköpslagen contains no provision for no-fault return unless agreed upon at the time of purchase. Unconditional right to returns and refund only exists for online and other non-physical transactions (distanssköplagen).

Eventually this kind of practise will end up featuring on one of those undercover consumer shows on TV, you know, where the film-makers chase some unsuspecting CEO or AD manager across a car park as he gets out of his Aston Martin and ask him to explain their underhand selling practises.
And when it does, it's going to make the whole industry look really bad. Rolex included. |

Could you please name the AD, I can guess, but I am curious to know.
Oh, and it is unacceptable that they didn't mention the bundling before you showed up. |

I agree with others that this was poor form on the part of the AD. Not cool.
However, thinking about it from a pragmatic perspective, if the OP really wanted the BLRO (I believe he did/does), relatively speaking this seems like a pretty decent deal. According to Google, the SEK (Swedish Krona) is currently ~0.12 USD. So the 20,000 SEK in other watches that he had to buy amounts to ~2,425.98 USD. Am I missing something here? Compared to grey market markup on the BLRO, the cost of the two extra watches is minimal. And he got two functional watches in the process, in addition to one of the hottest SS watches on the planet. Sounds like he did well, all things considered. Again, in principle the AD did not behave well. But I’m happy for the OP...got a BLRO and two more watches at the lowest premium I’ve seen. Wear in good health. |

I would have walked away so fast. This story is actually kinda of pathetic. Over to Vacheron or JLC or IWC or ALS I would have gone. I prefer to sacrifice a material item I really want then loose some dignity by dealing with such tactics.
