Azzuro dial, Smooth Bezel

Interesting to see so many blue dials available lately second hand. It makes me wonder if blue is falling out of love with the masses?

Regardless, the Azzuro dial has always been fascinating. Am I the only one who likes it with the smooth jubilee vs fluted?

To me the Datejust on a jubilee looks better with a smooth bezel. On the oyster I like fluted

I have it on the oyster with fluted, jubilee still reminds me off the 80’s!

I like the watch and the blue color but prefer the fluted bezel on the jubilee.

Blue has always been a fan favorite, it’s not going anywhere. I got my first blue dial watch, a Tissot in the early 70s in the Middle East. Still going strong today....

Funny companion thread to one I started about "why blue dials are so in demand". I think there are a ton of blue dial watches available because people are hoping they will sell for the premium they seem to fetch.

You wouldn’t believe it but some people buy watches to merely have while selling is not even a consideration! I love blue dials, I own many and I have never “Sold” one.

Blue dials are awesome! I love the smooth bezel, but in recent times, I've been leaning towards the fluted with jubilee.

That bottom pic with the Romans is one of my favs.

+1 DJ41 Blue/Smooth/Jubilee here. So versatile. Classy yet modern. Dress up or down, no problem.
