It’s so comfortable and under stated, got fed up of waiting on a submariner but my other watches ( omega PO ,and blue black bay 58 ) are both sporty/ divers ,so chased down the date just 41 ,makes a great addition, very smart without being overly dressy the dial keeps appearing different colours all through the day

Congrats! This was my very first Rolex (except mine's a DJ II and white dial), very versatile piece. Don't worry about the scratches, mine was all beat up after 9 years of wear and a trip to RSC it came back like brand new.

Congratulations! Great looking watch. Couldn’t agree more about the versatility of a Datejust. Just such a classy timeless easy to wear watch

Congratulations.

Eventually you’ll figure out that scratches are a part of wearing the watch and they “disappear” completely during regular service intervals every 10 years or so.

Congratulations! Looks awesome!

DJ41 with smooth bezel and oyster is a great every day watch. If exp1 is a sports watch then so is this version of DJ.

Also, we have the same taste
I have the smp300, black bb58 and dj41 black dial, smooth bezel and oyster.
