You have a sharp eye. It's a 16710 on the original SS Oyster bracelet, with an aftermarket ceramic bezel insert. I got tired of the anodized aluminum inserts getting scratched up, and the font on the Cerachrom inserts has better legibility.

I have the original aluminum insert and bezel, and can swap to the original in less than five minutes.

It's difficult to miss the lug holes :)

I’m so paranoid these days, just traveled across the country recently and wore my Speedy moon watch rather than my white dial 116500. The things I read on TRF and see in the media about robberies made me think twice about wearing a Rolex in LA…especially one that isn’t easy to replace…

If you look closely, you can see a bit of a ditch down there...

Also, a couple pictures from the pancake fly in we went to (in a car) last weekend.

Coolest plane there, a Republic Seabee with small block V8 installed and cheetah accent highlights. Freaking sweet.

Blue skies, y'all!

Some day I’ll have a seaplane and a gold submariner. My day will consist of spear fishing for fish tacos and drinking pina coladas.

I did my seaplane rating at Brown's Seaplane down in Florida, and it was some of the most fun 6 hours I've ever had. J3 Cub on straight floats, never got above 500', dodging gators on takeoff float, it was a blast.

Today, doing pilot things with my friend in his RV-8, his BLRO and my BLNR. I've really missed going upside down....

Blue skies!

Coming back from London with a second double pour of Scotch.

GMT worked so perfectly that I didn’t have to adjust the time at all.
