DJ36 blue vs 16013 TT
First Rolex. Trying to decide. Love the TT, think it looks classic. Feel that DJ36 with a blue dial would be better for an everyday wear.
Any recommendations or thoughts? |

Thanks - I’m leaning that way.

This really depends on you, a very personal decision. How do you feel about showing off and being blingy? I personally don't care for showing off and the TT watches just seem too blingy to me. Now I think they look great in photos, but on my wrist I just don't dig it. Having said this, I do own a TT Datejust 1601 and a TT Bluesy Sub 16613. I tend to put these on a leather strap to tone them down. The DJ is actually on an all stainless, polished bracelet now. I wore my Sub on the TT bracelet yesterday to work. It looks amazing, a great FU watch, but just not my style. I'll do it once in a while, but that Sub will be going back on a leather strap pretty quick!
The 36mm DJ in blue is a really good go anywhere, do anything kind of watch. I have considered getting one myself and would definitely go for the matte blue or sunburst blue dials. |

depends on your preference. But I would suggest a non TT watch for first watch.

Stay away from the steel steal. You can get a nice steel watch for 30 bucks at Target for those occasions you feel the need to avoid the dreaded "radar". I just bought a snazzy blue one as a gift for $31. Even has a day/date wheel! |

This all depends on what your daily usage routine will be. My 16013 is fabulous. But only really for light duty. Office. Wedding. Dinner party. Ain’t going camping hiking beaching biking shooting boating gardening tooling etc etc with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
