Tudor Black Bay 58 Blue Bezel color

Hi, I purchased a black bay 58 blue back in January while traveling and yesterday stopped by my AD to purchase a new strap. They had another black bay 58 blue on site and when I compared the 2 watches, I noticed that my bezel was a grayish blue rather than darker blue. Any one else encounter this? Is this variation normal?

First picture, the watch on the right is mine, you can see that the bezel is a lighter blue than the one on the left.

Second picture is the watch on the left from the first picture. The blue is closer promo pictures from Tudor’s website.

Third picture is a close up of my watch bezel. The lighting wasn’t the same as when I was at the AD.

The new one looks incredible with that blue. I wish it was in a 41mm.

Maybe the bezel doesn't have the PVD / Platinum coating like it's big brother. As a consequence, it starts to fade after some time.

Both are gorgeous! So I wouldn’t sweat it. Love the BB58 blue.

Just purchased an Omega SMP 300M in blue, but BB58 blue was my second choice. Hope I made the right choice. Awaiting delivery.

Tudor Black Bay 58 Blue Bezel color

Both Rolex and Tudor are susceptible to variations in manufacturing depending on which factory produced the part for them.

Additionally, the bezel insert of the Black Bay is aluminum and subject to a much faster rate of degradation compared to a ceramic insert.

Continue enjoying that lovely watch
